Indo-1, AM is a cell-permeant Ca²⁺ indicator that is ratiometric and UV light-excitable. The emission maximum of indo-1 shifts from ~475 nm in Ca²⁺-free medium to ~400 nm when the dye is saturated with Ca²⁺.
Indo-1, AM is supplied as 1 mg solid (C228), and 1 mg/mL solution in DMSO (C230).
