FixoGum Rubber Cement是目前国内外FISH实验中应用非常广泛的封片剂之一。杂交是FISH实验最关键且周期最长的步骤，任何一个细节的改进都可大大提高实验的成功率。在杂交过程中，为了防止长时间高温孵育引起杂交液的蒸发，需要加硅化盖玻片。传统的方法会选择液体石蜡封固，但是石蜡很有可能在高温下溶解导致杂交液的污染，而橡胶胶水高温下性能非常稳定且干燥后易去除，溢出的胶只需用手指抹掉或橡皮擦擦掉即可。
现货供应的FixoGum Rubber Cement是纯天然产品，不会老化。应用也非常方便，使用时只需挤少量封住盖玻片四周即可。另外，FixoGum也常用于扫描电镜（scanningelectron microscopy）样品制备中用于粘附待研究样品。

Marabu Fixogum is an elastic adhesive for graphic design and craft applications. Ideal for glueing paper, cardboard, paste board, plastic film and other flexible materials. Fixogum does not make the glued parts wavy. It is therefore ideal for card making, photo albums, scrapbooking, model-making and graphic design work.
One adhesive for everything: Marabu Fixogum can be used for permanent or removable bonding. Apply on both sides to achieve permanent bonding, apply to only one side to achieve non-permanent bonding. Any adhesive residue can simply be rubbed off with your fingers. Marabu Fixogum is a natural product on the basis of natural rubber and organic solvents and is therefore not resistant to ageing.
