HMGB2 is 80% identical to HMGB1 protein, but is encoded by a different gene. It consists of 195 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of approximately 22.3 kDa. The sequence of this product is identical toHomo sapiens. It contains only trace amounts of LPS (<0.4 ng protein) and it is tested for the ability to induce fibroblast migration.
