Background

‘Torchlight’ is an enhanced ultrasensitive electrochemical luminescent substrate which was designed for horseradish peroxidase (HRP) chemiluminescent reaction on transfer film. The horseradish peroxidase (HRP) chemiluminescent reaction is based on the catalyzed oxidation of luminol by peroxide. Oxidized luminol emits light as it decays to its ground state. The Western Blotting detection can reach low femtogram sensitivity through this catalytic reaction.
