background：Iduronate-2-sulfatase is required for the lysosomal degradation of heparan sulfate and dermatan sulfate. Iduronate-2-sulfatase has a strong sequence similarity with human arylsulfatases A, B, and C, and human glucosamine-6-sulfatase.
