The antibody produces strong labeling of VAChT at a dilution of 1/3,000 – 1/5,000 using biotin-streptavidin/HRP technique in rat basal forebrain. Optimal dilution will vary depending upon fixation, labeling technique and/or detection system; therefore, a dilution series is recommended. Immunolabeling is completely abolished by pre-adsorption with synthetic rat VAChT (511-530).
