Small molecules targeting specific signaling pathways have been shown to enhance the efficiency and/or replace the transcription factors required for reprogramming. When used in conjunction with the Human STEMCCA lentivirus reprogramming kits (SCR544, SCR545), the Human iPS Reprogramming Boost Supplement enhanced the efficiency of human iPS colony formation over ten-fold and reduced the time to establish full reprogrammed colonies by nearly 50%.
