Millicell® Hanging Cell Culture inserts with Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) membrane are ideal for the growth and differentiation of various cell types. This individually sterile-packaged insert has a 5.0 μm membrane pore size and fits in most24-well plastic tissue culture plates. In plastic tissue culture plates, cells can access media only from their apical sides, but in Millicell® tissue culture inserts, cells can access media from both their apical and basolateral sides.
